On A Mission For God
We invite all kids aged between 2 - 12 years to come and be part of our exciting HOPE KIDZ Program. Sunday morning services (9am Kawana) HOPE KIDZ provides a fun and interactive Sunday School Program for kids to learn and grow together in God and His word, while building relationships with each other. To best cater for our kids' needs, and to ensure relevant activities and learning experiences, children participate in activities in the following age appropriate groups. Cadets (2-4 years) promotes a caring environment for the little ones, through a relaxed and fun program. A typical morning consists of free play; a Bible story and related activity; praise and worship through song and dance; morning tea; and outside playtime (weather permitting). We believe it is important for parents to be able to relax and enjoy church, as well as having the children enjoy their time with us. Troopers (5-8 years) & Commandos (9 - 12) promotes a positive, encouraging and supportive environment through a fun, relevant and child-centered program. Kids learn that the most important thing in life is to get to know Jesus Christ and to learn to follow Him more closely everyday. Throughout the morning, kids participate in fun games and challenges; Bible quizzes; a wide variety of creative activities; praise and worship through song and dance; Bible stories and lesson time; prayer; reading God's word; and Scripture learning. There are awesome prizes and awards to encourage active participation; and the age-specific small group time promotes the development of new friendships. Our heart is to nurture and help children discover God; to grow to know Him; to study and obey His word; and to equip children with Bible-centered life skills so they can lead fruitful Christian lives. We aim to help children fulfil their God given potential, while having lots of fun along the way. "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6 Sunday Evening Service - 5pm HOPE KIDZ provides adult supervision for all children aged 4-10 years who wish to watch a G-rated children's film.
