Playgroup
Playgroup is open to everyone in the community and is a great morning where parents and children can get together in a fun environment every Thursday morning during the school term from 9:30 – 11:30am.
We welcome all children in our child friendly room set up, from babies up until school age. We have special designated areas for babies and toddlers or feel free to use our fabulous outdoor area.
Playgroup is a great way to meet friends, share ideas and experiences, and your children will benefit from developing sensory, social and communication skills.
We have a huge range of activities set up to meet children’s varying needs. Each week the children will get to run around and play and the adults get time to catch up with friends.
We have lots to play with including outdoor bikes, scooters, painting, play dough, sand play, outdoor climbing equipment, water play, block and sensory play.
We have a structured session (not compulsory) which involves free play, a different craft activity each week, an awesome morning tea for all and a fun interactive music session.
We love celebrating birthdays with you and also have special events each term, e.g. Pyjama party days, coloured themed days or a teddy bears picnic. We also have special visits by the fire truck, Old MacDonald’s farm, the education truck or we go on a special excursion.
We have a great time celebrating at the end of the year with our Christmas Graduation Concert which is open to bring along all your family and friends.
There is a small donation amount of $5/family or $3/baby. This includes a fabulous morning tea.
